  • Servings: 8 pieces.

Ingredients:

For eggless cake:

  • Curd / Yogurt – 3/4th cup
  • Sugar – 1 cup
  • Oil – 3/4th cup
  • Vanilla extract -1 tsp
  • Maida flour – 2 cup
  • Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
  • Baking Powder – 1tsp
  1. In a large bowl add curd, sugar, vanilla extract and oil. Whisk them for 5mins and combine well.
  2. Add maida, baking soda and baking powder and mix the batter to smooth consistency. If needed add some milk.
  3. Grease baking tray and pour the batter.. Pat twice.
  4. Preheat oven at 350*f and bake for 20 – 22 mins.

For honey syrup:

  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Water – 1/4 cup
  • Honey – 1/4 cup
  1. Add sugar and water in a pan and mix well.
  2. Let sugar dissolve and boil for 2mins.
  3. Cool and add honey and mix well.
  4. Now once the cakes is done, remove from oven and cool it.
  5. Prick holes all over the cake and start topping the cake with honey syrup evenly.

For Jam:

  • Any fruit jam : 1/2 cup( i used mixed fruit jam)
  • Honey – 1 tbsp.
  1. Add honey and jam to pan and melt them well.
  2. Now coat on the cake with jam syrup well .
  3. Add desiccated coconut 2 tbsp over the cake.
  4. Cut to desired size and enjoi.
