One of the famous South Indian snack. They also call it as ola pakoda or nada. This snack is combination of rice flour and besan. It holds good for 10 days when stored in airtight container. Usually these are prepared for festives. They are very easy to be prepared There are lot of variation in this recipe. Some people even use garlic and fennel seeds.

Ingredients:
- Rice flour – 1 cup
- Besan – 1cup
- Hing – small pinch
- Red chilli powder – as required
- Melted butter – 2 tbsp
- Salt as required.
- Oil for deep frying
- Water – 3/4th cup
- In a bowl add rice flour, besan, hing, red chilli powder and salt and mix them well.
- Now add the melted butter and mix.
- Slowly add water little by little to form a soft dough.
- Take the ribbon disc and add them to the presser.
- Add some oil to the presser.
- Take some dough and put in the presser.
- In a kadai add some oil for deep frying.
- Once the oil is hot, slowly press and spread the dough in oil.
- Fry both sides golden.
- Serve them with hot tea or hot chocolate.
- Store them in air tight container.
