Ingredients:
- Potato – 6 nos.
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli powder – as required
- Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
- Oil – 3tbsp
- Cumin – 1/2 tsp
- Pressure cook 6 potatoes with little salt for 2 whistles.
- Peel their skin and cut into cubes.
- In a cup add chilli powder, salt & turmeric powder and mix them well.
- Add oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
- Add cumin and then the mix powders.
- Saute them for a min in medium flame.
- Add chopped potatoes and mix them well until potatoes are coated with the masala.
- Always cook on medium flame for 6mins. Stir them inbetween.
- Add hing and cook until potatoes are roasted well.
- Turn off the flame once roasted.
- Serve the potato hot rice or chapathi too.
