Ingredients:
- Poha/Aval: 2 cups
- Onion – 1/2 cup
- Peanut – 1/2 cup
- Curry leaves- few
- Green chillies – 2 slit
- Mustard, cumin, urad dhall – 1/2 tsp each
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Dry red chillies – 2
- Lemon Juice – 1 tbsp.
- Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
- Heat a kadai and add oil.
- Once heat add mustard, cumin and urad dhall.
- Add green chillies, red chillies and curry leaves and saute
- Add peanut and saute for 2mins
- Add onions and saute until soft. Add turmeric powder and mix.
- Now put the soaked poha and mix them well. Add some salt.
- Sprinkle some water and close & cook for 3 mins in simmer.
- Mix well and add some coriander leaves.
- Turn off the flame and add lemon juice.
- Serve hot
Note:You can skip onions if you do not prefer. Also any vegetable can be added too.
