Ingredients:
- Chana dal and toor dal – 1/4 cup each.
- Beans chooped – 2 cups
- Dry red chillies- 5
- Salt to taste
- Hing
- Oil
- I steamed beans in instant pot with high pressure and 0min timing.
- Do a quick release and open the lid and take the beans.
- Alternatively, add the beans in a pan and close and cook for 15mins on medium flame by sprinkling some water.
- Soak both the dals for 30mins in hot water.
- Grind them to a coarse paste by adding dry red chillies , salt and hing.
- In a pan add some oil and mustard and allow them to splutter.
- Add the grind dal in a pan and keep frying it until the dal crumbles.
- Once dal crumbles add the cooked beans and mix them well.
- Fry for 5mins on medium flame.
Notes: Do not add water while grinding dal. Also grind them coarsely.
