Ingredients:
- To make Sundal:
- Dry Peas – 2 cups
- Salt
- Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 2 tbsp
- Water 1 cup
- Soak dry green peas overnight and pressure cook 3whistles.
- In a vessel add water.
- Add salt, red chilli powder and garam masala
- Let it boil for 15mins.
- Now add the pressure cooked sundal and boil for few mins.
- Turn off and set aside.
- To make puris:
- Rava/Semolina – 1 cup
- Maida/Allpurpose flour – 3 tbsp
- Oil for deep frying.
- In a bowl add semolina/ rava, Maida and oil 3 tbsp.
- Mix them well.
- Now add water little by little and make a soft dough.
- Rest it for 20mins.
- Take the dough and roll it to thin layer with roller pin.
- With cookie cutter or any desired small circle cut the dough to small circles.
- In a kadai add oil for deep frying.
- Once oil is hot start adding puris one by one and fry both sides to slight brown.
- Lets start the Plating:
- In a plate add the puris and break in the centre.
- Add sundal, shredded carrot, onions, again sundal.
- Garnish with Coriander leaves.
- Enjoi the Sundal Puri in a different way.
