Ingredients:
- Oil – 3tbsp
- Fennel seeds 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves few
- Green chillies 3
- Ginger garlic – 1 tsp
- Onion- 1 cup
- Tomato – 1 chopped
- Turmeric a pinch
- Rice 1 cup
- Toor dal- 1/2 cup
- Water- 2.5 cups
- Salt to taste.
- Wash rice and toor dal and soak them for 15mins.
- Turn on saute mode on Instant pot. Once the pot is hot add oil.
- Add fennel seeds, curry leaves and green chillies.
- Add ginger garlic and saute for a min.
- Add the onions and cook until they are soft.
- Add tomato and saute them well.
- Add rice, toor dal and water. Salt to taste.
- Close the lid and cancel saute mode.
- Turn on pressure cook mode and timer to 4 mins.
- Once done quick release the pressure and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve with fryums.
