Strawberry Jam | Homemade Strawberry Jam | How to make no preservative strawberry Jam |

This strawberry jam is easy to prepare and it is chemical preservative free. Until i made this i never knew making jam was easy. I remember in my school days, i could see homemade juices, snacks and jam by my mom. Inspired by her i started making jam at home which is more safe for kids too.

  • Cook time: 30mins
  • Serves: 1 Jar

Ingredients:

  • Strawberries- 4 cup tightly packed
  • Sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Lemon Juice- 2 tbsp
  1. In a pan add chopped strawberries, sugar and keep stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add Lemon juice and mix well. Boil them for 15mins
  3. When u see the frothy layer slowly remove them.
  4. Keep stirring the jam on medium flame.
  5. After 20mins the jam will start to thicken. Keep stirring.
  6. Once the color changes to dark, take a spoon and turn it to scoop a little jam. If the jam sticks to spoon it is all done.
  7. Turn off the flame and cool down
  8. Transfer to a jar and use clean spoon every-time.
  9. Refrigerate it.
