Mushroom Pepper Fry | Mushroom Pepper masala | Kaalaan Milagu Varuval |காளான் மிளகு வறுவல் |

I was not a big fan of Mushroom. But when i tasted this recipe once i became a very big fan of mushroom. Mushroom is all packed with lots of proteins. I am addicted to mushroom now.This is excellent side dish for chapathi or hot rasam also.

Ingredients:

  • Maida 3tbsp
  • Rice flour 3 tbsp
  • Mushrooms 200gm
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper 1.5 tbsp
  • Water
  • Oil
  • Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1 fully chopped
  • Curry leaves few
  • Green chilly 2
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala – 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Soy Sauce – 2 tbsp
  • Water – 2 tbsp
  • Pepper- 1 tbsp
  1. In a bowl add maida, salt, rice flour and pepper. Mix well
  2. Add water and form batter consistency.
  3. Now add the chopped mushrooms and coat them well.
  4. Heat enough oil to deep fry them mushrooms.
  5. Drop them coated mushrooms slowly and fry them crisp .
  6. Transfer to plate and set aside.
  7. In a pan add oil 2 tbsp.
  8. Add garlic and fry them for a min.
  9. Add onions, curry leaves few and green chillies.
  10. Saute until they are soft
  11. Add red chilli powder, garam masala, salt. Mix well.
  12. Add soy sauce and water and cook well.
  13. Now add he deep fried mushrooms toss them well.
  14. Add pepper at the end and mix well.
  15. Serve them hot.
