Panner Ghee roast | पनीर घी रोस्ट | mangalore style | How to make panner roast|

Paneer is one of my favorite. This paneer ghee roast recipe is so good and spicy. As it is dry can be served as snack too. It tasted good with chapathi and rice as well.

Ingredients:

  • Dry red chillies 6 to 7
  • Cumin – 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds – 1tbsp
  • Pepper – 1 tbsp
  • Fenugreek seeds -1 tsp
  • Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Cloves – 3

Dry roast all the ingredients and transfer to blender.

  • Before grinding add the following:
  • Garlic – 2 pods
  • Ginger 1 tsp
  • Tamarind juice – 2 tbsp
  • Water -2 tbsp
  • Grind to smooth paste and set aside.
  • Paneer – 12 cubes
  • Ghee 2 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 finely chopped
  • Curd – 2 tbsp Whisked
  • Salt to taste
  • Jaggery – pinch
  1. In a pan add 2 tbsp of ghee and add 12 panner cubes and fry them nice golden on all sides.
  2. Transfer to plate and set aside.
  3. In the same pan add Finely chopped onion 1 cup and fry them well.
  4. Add the grind paste and cook them well.
  5. Cook them for 4 mins Add 2 tbsp whisked curd.
  6. Cook them well 4 mins’
  7. Add salt and jaggery and cook until oil separates
  8. Add the panner cubes and few curry leaves.
  9. Mix well and serve them hot.
