Veg Puff | Vegetable Puffs | How to make veg puff | Bakery style vegetable puffs |

Veg puff is one of my favorite evening snack. I remember getting from bakery. The crispy-n-flaky layer on outside and spicy veggie stuffing makes the puff tasty. I always had craving for this. Ingredients:

  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin -1 tsp
  • Onion – 1 cup chopped
  • Turmeric pinch
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Cumin powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Garam masala -1.5tbsp
  • Water – 1/4 cup + 1/4 cup
  • Mixed veggies of your choice. ( carrot,peas, Boiled potatoes and shredded panner.)
  • Salt as required
  • Coriander leaves few
  • Puff pastry sheet – 10(used store bought)
  1. In a pan add oil. Once hot add cumin seeds.
  2. Now add onions and cook until soft.
  3. Add turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and garam masala. Mix well.
  4. Cook on low flame and do not burn.
  5. Add water and cook for 5mins.
  6. Add the mixed veggies, salt and mix well.
  7. Add water 1/4 cup.Cook for 5-6 mins. This helps the veggies to cook.
  8. Garnish with Coriander leaves. Turn off the flame.
  9. I used store bought puff pastry sheets. So take one sheet.
  10. Now roll it a little bit so that it can stretch little.
  11. Now add the veggies stuffing.
  12. Fold them into half and gently press the corners.
  13. Follow the same with rest.
  14. Place them in greased baking tray.
  15. Apply butter over the puffs.
  16. Preheat oven at 350 deg Fahrenheit.
  17. Bake them for 25mins.
  18. Serve them hot.
