Ingredients:
- For Rabri Preparation:
- Milk – 4 cups
- Condensed milk – 1.5 cups
- Saffron milk – 2 tbsp
- Nuts and cardamom Powder – 1 tsp (Optional)
- In a pan add milk and allow to boil. Stir Occasionally.
- Once boiled add condensed milk and mix well.
- Let the milk start boiling
- Reduce the flame to medium. When the cream starts to appear move to the corner of the pan slowly.
- Also keep stirring to avoid milk sticking at the bottom.
- Again stick the cream to the corner. Repeat this for 4-5 times.
- Add Nuts cardamom powder and saffron milk
- Mix well and allow to boil.
- Now scrape the cream from the corner and mix them well with milk
- Simmer and boil for another 4 mins
- Turn off and set aside.
- For Sugar syrup:
- Sugar – 3/4th cup
- Water- 3/4th cup
- Saffron few starnds
- In another add sugar and water.
- Mix well until sugar dissolve.
- Add Saffron strands to the syrup.
- Boil them for 4 mins.
- Turn off and set aside.
- For Serving:
- Bread – 8 slices
- Ghee – 1/2 cup
- Mixed nuts (Optional)
- Take bread slices and cut the corners.
- Cut them into traingle shape. I mean cut them half.
- In a pan add ghee and once hot add 2 bread slices.
- Fry the bread golden color on both the sides.
- See that you don’t burn them.
- Remove them from ghee and transfer to sugar syrup.
- Coat them well with the syrup.
- In a plate add the rabri.
- Also add the sugar coated bread slices one by one.
- Garnish with nuts.
- Enjoi the Dessert.
- Note:
- Always use whole milk or thick milk
- Adjust condensed milk according to your sweetness.
- Do not leave the bread too long in sugar syrup. It will turn soggy
- You can also fry the bread with few spoon ghee than shallow frying.
