Kunukku | Adai kunukku | Lentil Fritters |

Kunukku is made with left over adai batter. It is deep fried crunchy and crispy snack. To spice up the batter we add some onions and coriander leaves too. It is vest when served hot coffee or tea. Lets jump to recipe.

Ingredients:

  • Adai Batter: 2 cups
  • Hing
  • Chopped Onion – 1 cup
  • Coriander leaves Few
  1. In a bowl take adai batter.
  2. Add Hing and mix them
  3. Add corinader leaves and onions and mix them well.
  4. Heat oil in a kadai. Check whether oil is hot by dropping a small piece of batter.
  5. Once oil is hot, take small quantity of batter and start dropping to small balls. Do not worry about shape.
  6. Deep fry the kunukku until it becomes golden brown.
  7. Drain the oil and transfer to plate.
  8. Serve hot with tea or coffee.
  • Note:
  • You can also add curry leaves.
  • Also if batter is so running consistency add rice flour.
  • Cook on medium flame.
  • You can add pepper or green chillies too.
