Dry fruit laddu is one healthy snack with no sugar or jaggery. A best treat for kids these days. The seedless dates act as a binding agent so there is no use of sugar or jaggery here. We make this often as kids evening snack. Now lets jump on how to make this dry fruit laddu.

  • Serves: 20 laddu.

Ingredients:

  • Seedless Dates- 300gms.
  • Ghee- 4 tsp
  • Chopped Almonds- 3/4th cup
  • Chopped cashews- 3/4th cup
  • Raisins- 1/4th cup
  • Chopped walnuts- 1/2 cup
  • Poppy seeds/Khus khus- 1.5 tsp
  1. In a blender add the seedless dates and grind coarsely.
  2. Add ghee in a pan. Once ghee is hot add almonds, cashews, raisins and walnuts.
  3. Fry them golden and do not burn.
  4. Add poppy seeds and fry for a minute.
  5. Add chopped dates and mix well.
  6. Turn off and cool down.
  7. Start rolling them to small balls when the mixture is warm enough.
  8. The laddu is all ready to be served.
