Suzhiyan is a traditional sweet made during festive times. They are made with coconut and jaggery. You can also replace with Dal and jaggery.

Ingredients:
- Powdered jaggery- 1 cup
- Water 2 tbsp
- Shredded coconut- 1.5 cups
- Cardamom powder- 1/2 tsp
- Maida – 1 cup
- Salt- 1/2 tsp
- Oil for deep frying
- Ina pan add jaggery and water. Let it melt and cook for 3mins.
- Add shredded coconut and mix them well until they combine.
- Add cardamom powder and mix them.
- Cook for 4-5 min on low flame.
- Turn off the flame and transfer to a plate to cool down.
- In a bowl add maida, salt and water. Mix well to form a thick batter.
- Make small balls of coconut jaggery balls and set aside.
- Once oil is hot dip the coconut balls in the maida batter and drop one by one in hot oil. fry them golden all sides.
- Serve them for a snack.
